Job Description
Support the Naval Sea Systems Command Code 03S (NAVSEA 03S) Digital Industrial Operations (DIO) efforts concerning information technology services in support of the Navy Maritime Maintenance Enterprise Solution (NMMES) Program.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Serve as subject matter expert (SME) and the definitive source of knowledge, technique, or expertise.
  • Translate business requirements and processes into low-friction automation and high-impact systems.
  • Regularly provide government with project status updates and convey any complications
  • Lead DoD IPTs and WGs 
  • Function as the expert in the required knowledge area, and applies expertise to support the organization’s vision and strategic direction
Qualifications:
  • PMP
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity
  • Experience with Telecommunications and IT policy formulation
  • Experience reporting to senior government officials and department heads
  • Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures
Desired:
  • The position requires staying on top of the industry trend and new technologies for the system architecture.
  • Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.
  • Works autonomously.
  • Technical writing and detailed documentation of networks, systems, applications and personnel procedures
  • Possess the ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Possess ability to work within a diverse workforce made up of both civilian and military personnel
  • Knowledge of MS Suite
  • Self-motivated
  • Possess the ability to evaluate current and emerging technology.

Education: M.S. degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline or equivalent work experience OR ten years of additional applied work experience

Years Experience:  Approximately 10 years as an IT Project Manager with a BA/BS degree in IT related field
