Job Summary 

We are seeking a Senior Storage Administrator to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the team in various ways during simultaneous conferences and events. You will play a key part in ATG’s support of various USSOUTHCOM efforts to deter aggression, defeat threats, protect National Security, rapidly respond to crisis situations and build various areas of responsibility (AOR) Information Technology (IT) capacity. Our team will provide direct support to implement and sustain mission critical IT networks and robust cyber defense services.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Manage, update, and troubleshoot all storage area network (SAN) devices. 

  • Apply customer policies, regulations, and procedures across the storage devices. 

  • Perform capacity planning and allocate disk space. 

  • Monitor capacity, latency, and availability optimizing utilization with VMware backbone and optimizing system performance. 

  • Manage system resources and optimize system performance. 

  • Perform system startup, shutdown, diagnostics, file management, user and group setups, and determination of login scripts. 

  • Perform data and file storage administration and related functions including provisioning and monitoring backups and restorations. 

  • Possess and apply expertise on multiple complex work assignments. 

  • Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. 

  • Operate with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. 

  • Contribute to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable. 

  • Design and develop solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns.  

  • Perform systems management and integration functions. 

Qualifications 

Required:  

  • Security Clearance Level: Must hold an active Secret level clearance.  

  • Bachelor’s Degree and nine (9) Years of experience  

  • Associates degree and eleven (11) years or High School Diploma and thirteen (13) years may be substituted in leu of Bachelor’s degree.  

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, common attack vectors, and defense strategies Familiarity with incident response frameworks and best practices (e.g., NIST SP 800-61)   

  • Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools   

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills   

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment 

  • Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.  

  • Plans and leads major technology assignments.  

  • Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.  

  • Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.  

  • May supervise others. 

Desired:  

  • Experience in large, distributed IT enterprises 

  • ITIL Foundation Certificate 

  • Experience in DoD or Government IT support environment 

Physical and Environmental Conditions 

  • Work to be performed out of Doral, FL supporting various missions across the area of responsibility. 

  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time in office-setting
