Job Summary 

We are seeking a Application Developer (Mid) to join our team. You will play a key part in ATG’s technical support for Naval Sea Command specializing in cybersecurity support, data support, architecture & engineering support. Our team will provide direct support to a wide array of information systems and sustainment activities including technical reviews, data gathering, data analysis, IT application and database support. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Design, develop, and maintain database-driven IT applications 
• Develop software solutions using one or more programming languages including C++, Java/J2EE, Visual Basic, .NET, HTML/XML, PowerBuilder, and/or Delphi 
• Support application enhancements, updates, and maintenance activities 
• Participate in system testing and validation to ensure proper functionality 
• Assist with implementation and deployment of application solutions 
• Collaborate with technical teams to meet customer and mission requirements 

Qualifications 

Required: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information science, or a related field 
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an information technology–related role 
• Experience designing and developing database-driven IT applications 
• DoD 8140 / 8570 IAT Level II certification 
• Active Secret security clearance (IT-II eligibility) 

Desired: 

• Experience supporting Navy or DoD IT environments 
• Experience working in enterprise or mission-critical systems 

Physical and Environmental Conditions 

Work to be performed out of Mechanicsburg, PA supporting various missions across the area of responsibility. 
Must be able to sit for long periods of time in office-setting.
