Job Summary

The Computer Programmer (Mid) supports the development, modification, and maintenance of software applications in support of NAVSEALOGCEN systems and mission requirements. This role contributes to programming activities across the application lifecycle to ensure reliable and efficient system functionality.
In this role, you will play a key part in ATG’s technical support for Naval Sea Command, specializing in cybersecurity support, data support, and architecture and engineering support. You will provide direct support to a wide array of information systems and sustainment activities, including technical reviews, data gathering, data analysis, IT application support, and database support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain software applications in support of mission requirements
• Write, test, and debug code using one or more programming languages such as C++, Java/J2EE, Visual Basic, .NET, HTML/XML, PowerBuilder, and/or Delphi
• Support application updates, enhancements, and maintenance activities
• Participate in system testing and validation to ensure correct functionality
• Assist with implementation and deployment of software solutions
• Collaborate with development and technical teams to meet customer requirements

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information science, or a related field
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an information technology–related role
• Experience programming in one or more software languages (C++, Java/J2EE, Visual Basic, .NET, HTML/XML, PowerBuilder, and/or Delphi)
• DoD 8140 / 8570 IAT Level II certification
• Active Secret security clearance (IT-II eligibility)

Desired

• Experience supporting Navy or DoD IT environments
• Experience working with enterprise or mission-critical systems

Physical and Environmental Conditions

Work to be performed out of Mechanicsburg, PA supporting various missions across the area of responsibility.
Must be able to sit for long periods of time in an office setting.
