Job Summary 

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst II to join our team. You will play a key part in ATG’s technical support for Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) specializing in cybersecurity support, validation support, IT and cyber policy writing and program implementation support. Our team will provide direct support cybersecurity policy, A&A artifacts, validation and security posture reviews. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Cybersecurity Analyst II: Monitor and secure information systems, identify any potential risks or breaches, and develop strategies to prevent security incidents.
  • Identify information system and network vulnerabilities by conducting regular audits. Install and use software, such as firewalls and data encryption programs, to protect sensitive information.
  • Develop and implement effective security policies and protocols.
  • Respond to security incidents and provide detailed incident reports.
  • Conduct penetration testing to simulate attacks and identify weak points.
  • Work with the IT team to establish disaster recovery plans.
  • Stay up to date on the latest intelligence, including hacker methodologies, in order to anticipate security breaches.
  • Educate the workforce on information security through training and awareness programs.
  • Recommend security enhancements to management or senior IT staff.
Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or an equivalent science, technology, engineering & mathematics (STEM) degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent professional certification for years of
    experience per CSWF certification requirements
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification
  • CompTIA Security+
  • 8570 CSSP certification
Desired:
  • 3 years of professional experience in performing analysis of logs and events, vulnerability management tools (i.e, ACAS, Tenable); and of various data collection tools; as well as experience automating processes through scripting and
    assessing impacts from observed risks and present the findings through the chain-of-command
