Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Planner to join our team supporting DISA J-3/5/7 Directorate. You will play a key part in ATG’s support of operational planning support, strategic initiative coordination and program assessments (OAB) for the directorate.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expertise and input to operations planning, future operations planning, future cyber operations in support of DISA J-5 Planning Directorate.
Provide technical expertise regarding the development of strategic and operational plans resulting from the joint planning process (JPP) that contain a variety of viable cyberspace options, including mission analysis, course of actions development, campaign plans, and order development.
Provide support to three concurrent DISA Joint Planning Groups (JPGs) and attend concurrent DoD or CCMD working groups that are feeding information to the DISA planning efforts.
Provide contingency planning support, as a cross-functional team member, to DISA, CCMD, USCYBERCOM or JFHQ-DODIN Joint Planning Group (JPG) or Operational Planning Team (OPT).
Provide analysis of national and DOD level directives, including (but not limited to) National Military Strategy, National Defense Strategy, DISA Charter, DoD CIO Capability Programming Guidance.
Identify and describe a set of related activities that are linked to those strategic goals as identified in the agency strategic plan influenced/impacted by the J3/5/7.
Synchronize these activities with Agency strategy (imperatives, goals, tasks, and objectives) to ensure the sum of the steady state and initiatives result in successful accomplishment of the agency key objectives in sustainment as well as during contingency and crisis action planning.
Design and develop cyberspace plans and order documents for designated cyberspace operation efforts involving the collaboration among DOD cyberspace Areas of Operation and Sectors and other organizations with cyber-related missions and cyber de-confliction, synchronization, coordination and assessment policies; and processes and full-spectrum cyber coordination and reporting procedures.
Support deliberate and contingency planning to include the management and implementation of the Adaptive Planning and Execution Enterprise (APEX) process across the four operational activities and planning functions, and seven execution functions.
Provide expertise and input to Operational Planning Teams (OPT’s), Working Groups and other B2C2WG events were directed or requested in support of the Commander’s objectives and desired operational endstate.
Provides technical and administrative direction for personnel performing software development tasks, including the review of work products for correctness, adherence to the design concept and to user standards, and for progress in accordance with schedules.
Acts as Project Lead to ensure problem solution and user satisfaction. Makes recommendations, if needed, for approval of major deliverables and work products.
Prepares milestone status reports and deliveries/presentations on the system concept to colleagues, subordinates, and end user representatives.
Provides daily supervision and direction to support staff.
Responsible for program deliverables, and reporting to both ATG leadership and Government personnel regarding contract outcomes and status.
Qualifications
Required:
Security Clearance Level: Must hold an active Secret Clearance.
Master’s degree in Engineering, Systems Management, Computer Sciences, Information Management, Business Management, or a related discipline
Bachelor’s Degree and 4 Years experience can be substituted for Master’s Degree.
8+ years of related experience as a computer analyst and 3-4 years of business solutions experience with high complexity, multiple large application business processes.
Thorough knowledge of programming languages, project management, and application or systems development methodologies are crucial.
Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.

Previous Experience in leading teams with multiple skillsets.
