Responsibilities/Duties
JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Information Assurance Engineer II. Perform duties as ISSO for INSCOM Enterprise Cybersecurity
Support Services. Provides RMF expertise to the INSCOM Cybersecurity Division. The candidate
will assist Organizational-ISSM in daily tracking and auditing of subordinate organization
Assessment and Authorization Packages. Provides advice and assistance on completing security
controls and maintaining system compliance. Validates vulnerability scan results for ACAS and
STIGs.
Maintains daily status of INSCOM systems and provides senior leaders with system information and
talking points as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the INSCOM Enterprise Cybersecurity Services Support (ECSS) contract, Information
Assurance Engineer III will provide Risk Management expertise toward the management of
INSOCM systems to ensure regulatory compliance and enforce Continuous Monitoring of system
cybersecurity compliance and best practices.
Specifically, directly supports the enterprise ISSMs to maintain the enterprise Tier 2 CCP record.
The scope of this effort encompasses ConMon, reauthorization activities, and POA&M
management.
Tasks include:
-Provides technical and programmatic Information Assurance Services
-Designs, develops and implements security requirements within the ECSS business processes.
-Prepares documentation from customer information using accepted guidelines such as RMF (Risk
Management Framework).
-Develops strategies to comply with privacy, risk management, and authentication requirements.
Required Experience
-Experience preparing reports for the government
-Experience with Enterprise Architecture (EA)
-Experience with eMASS and/or Xacta
Required DoD 8670 certifications: IAT Level II and/or IAM Level II.
Certifications must be maintained in ATCTS.
Required: active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly
Hours: HQ INSCOM core hours are 0900 - 1500. HQ INSCOM and Contractor personnel are
expected to work an 8-hour workday and a 40-hour workweek. Prior to working outside of regular
hours of operation, coordination must be made with the Government team lead and the INSCOM
COR for approval.
